Rockin’ Birthday

I made this Rockin’ birthday card for a class I did last month. I love this stamp set! Extreme Elements is so fun to use!  I also used the new Shimmer Paints from the Holiday Mini. Love anything that adds BLING!

Convention Challenge

At Convention Barbara Welch, Linda Rodenberg and I were asked to create a card using the stamp set Under The Stars. We had to use the supplies available and we had a limited time…we even had to put the stamp set together in that amount of time… This is what I made. It is a little pocket card. For the record, I would have colored in the Bear, but there were no Aqua Painters or Blender Pens out there, only Markers, and not the right colors. LOL. I would have made it a little different at home. But, I did get to keep the stamp set!

I made this card for my Mom for her Birthday. It was inspired by Lorri Heilings card here.  It uses the stamp set Blooming With Love. I am so sad that one had to go! I loved it!

Happy New Baby

We have a new baby in our family! She is now 1 month old! Her name is Jolie Evette, and she is just the cutest little thing ever!

Her Mom didn’t know what she was having so for the baby shower I had to go unisex! I think the little elephant is kinda cute!

Lily’s Birthday

I am late in posting this one too, but I still must post it! Lily turned 7! I can’t believe that she is 7 already!

Lily wanted a Brownie Mountain for her cake again. It doesn’t look the greatest, but there are never leftovers!

This a cute cupcake that Lily’s Cousin Emily made for her. It was almost too cute to eat. She even made this cute little pedestal plate for her.

Last but not least, here is the card that I made for her. This technique was demonstrated at convention. I loved it!

DVD Photo Album

When I went to Convention, I got to take my kids along too. They had a little vacation with Aunt Laura, Uncle Ken and Cousin Chelsey.  It was a blast for them! They are so fun to be around. I am so thankful that they spent the week with the kids. 

Friday was Aunt Laura’s birthday so this is what the kids and I put together for her. I was inspired by this one here. There is also a great tutorial on splitcoast for it too!

I had the kids write down why they loved her and then I added some pictures to it. I like how it came out!

For this project, I used:

Another Convention Swap

Convention!

I was so busy getting ready for convention that I haven’t updated my blog in over a month! But, I do have some fun cards to share… But first I must tell you that the Stampin’ Up Convention was really fun! I learned so much that I felt like my head was gonna pop every day! I went home each night SOOOOO tired!

Cup O’ Flowers

I did a class at church  and this is one of the cards that we made. I used the Sell A Bration DSP. The stamp is from Fun and Fast Notes, and the Thinking of You is a retired stamp from the Three for You Punch Box. I stamped the cup of flowers on Whisper White, backed with a  piece of  Certainly Celery. I colored the flowers  with Certainly Celery, So Saffron, and Pretty in Pink markers.  For the cup I used paper piecing with some of the Celery paper from the same paper pack. I used some cute little rhinestones for the center of the flowers; Then I used some Diamond Stickles for the bling on the cup.  I also used the Eyelet Border Punch for the bottom. Last but not least I used So Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon for the bow.
