October Stamp Club

I LOVE fall. It is my FAVORITE time of year. Living in Arizona you really get excited when the weather is in the high 80’s and not the 100’s!! We break out our pants! I have NO tan at all all summer long,  I really hate to be hot, so now that the weather is nice I can go out and plant flowers, play in the park with the kids and even walk them to school. That said, I am totally in the mood to make fall cards. That is just what we did this month.

Here are the cards

The first card is inspired by this card here. I loved that she made it so simple! It really is just paper and ink. No embellishments or added layers!

Stamps: Inspired By Nature, All Holidays, Paper: Very Vanilla CS, Vanilla Envelope, INK: Old Olive, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Tools: Sponge Daubers, Stampin’ Write Markers

The next card is one that I made in a stamp club with Wendy Janson a couple of years ago. It is a favorite of mine!

STAMPS: Bitty Basics ( Hostess set), PAPER: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Orange dots from Ghostly Greeting DS Paper, INK: Basic Black, Creamy Caramel TOOLS: Sponge Dauber, Mat Pack, Paper Piercing tool, Small Oval Punch, EMBELLISHMENTS: Vintage Brads, Green wire

The last card is one that I made to show the girls how to use a sketch to make a card. I don’t know what I would do without those sketches. They really help you pump the ideas out. I have used sketch 194 several times over the last couple of weeks. It is one of my favorites!

STAMPS: Season Of Friendship, PAPER:  Natural White Whisper White CS, Chocolate Chip, Green Stripe and Orange dots from Ghostly Greeting DS Paper, Ruby red, Brown Print from Windsor Knot DS Paper, INK: Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, TOOLS: Paper Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Scallop Edge Punch, EMBELLISHMENTS: 3/8 Grosgrain ribbon in Chocolate Chip

It was a Happy Birthday

Last Monday was my Birthday! It was a GREAT Day! Filled with lots of phone calls from friends and Family followed by a wonderful dinner that I did not have to cook with my parents, husband and children. Who can ask for more??  I received these cute cards! The first one is from my 6 year old daughter Lily. She loves to craft! And I would have to say that for a 6 year old she is pretty good!

The inside is my favorite part!

The next card is from my Mom.

Lorri Heiling

Ginny Shembri

Kristy Nakamura…Yes Kristy, I spelled you name wrong on the card! SORRY!! Can I blame old age??

Wendy Janson

Thanks to everyone for such BEAUTIFUL cards!!

Another Birthday Card

I was looking through all the cards that I have made and I don’t think I ever posted this card. I made it for a friend of mine right after I got my new Bella Rose paper! I love how these colors look together! So pretty. This card is a little more sparkly  than the picture shows. There are a lot of stickles on the flowers.

Recipe:STAMPS:Garden Whimsy, Sincere Salutations, PAPER:Riding Hood Red, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Bella Rose DS Paper, INK: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black, TOOLS: Photo Corners Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Mat Pack, Circle Punches, 1 1/4, 1 3/8 EMBELLISHMENTS:Stickles

Happy Birthday!!, SC 194

I have a couple of birthdays coming up so I thought I would make some cards!! Any excuse right….

My Neice Chelsey will be 18 this week!  I made her this card. I also made one similar for a certain other FRIEND of mine who shall remain nameless, or she won’t be surprised!… well she may be surprised to actually recieve a card!!  I am a flakey friend!

I thought this sketch was a good one, and I REALLY like this paper. The stamp set is retired but I still love this cake. I like that it isn’t super plain. It is from the Pretty Princess set. So cute!!

Recipe: STAMPS: Pretty Princess, PAPER: Sweet Always DS Paper, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, INK: Jet Black Stazon, Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun, Garden Green, Chocolate Chip Markers, Pink Pirouette (with Aqua Painter), TOOLS: Scallop Edge Punch, EMBELLISHMENTS: Pumpkin Pie Buttons

September weSTAMP

I know I always say this, but WHAT A GREAT MEETING! I have been a part of a few other sales type companies, and we always got together for meetings….but NONE were as FUN as weSTAMP!! I LOVE these Ladies. They are so fun and talented and just plain GREAT to be around. I always get home so late because it is just hard to leave!! Nancy and Lorri put so much effort into these meetings. I think it is also great that everyone chips in to make it a success!

The Make and Take was really neat because we got to try out the new Big Shot that Stampin’ Up sells! WOW! It can go EVERYTHING!!! This baby cut everything we put in it!  Coke cans, Vinal, Cork, Denim…you name it! Ginny put together this cute little book so we could show our customers some samples. It was pretty fun to mess around with!

Here are the Swaps. The theme this month was a Halloween or Fall 3d item. WOW!! I LOVE THEM ALL!!

Mine:

Can’t wait till next month!!

Enjoy!
