I know it is after the fact, but that seems to be how I do things… I made these Father’s Day cards the day of for my Husband, Dad, and Father in Law. Why you ask… Well I am a procratinator and I thought I would have Friday to at least make my husbands, and well Thursday night the man came home from basketball needing a trip the the ER. 19 stiches to hold his upper lip on later we came home, he was unable to work the next day and he spent the weekend on the couch watching golf. I had to wake up early in the AM to make his card! Couldn’t get away from him. Poor man, he looks terrible.
This first card I made for my Father in Law. He is very patriotic. I used an old SU set called Land That I Love. I watercolored the image on watercolor paper. It is then layered with Real Red and Naturals Ivory CS, the Happy Father’s Day is from All Holidays stamped in Night of Navy on Naturals Ivory CS also layered with Real Red and Naturals Ivory. The base of the card is NI. and the layers are Night of Navy and Real Red. I also added some white buttons.
This next card was for my husband the lover of all sports. Not sure what the little spots are by the buttons because they dont’ show up on the card itself…glue maybe??
Card base is Old Olive, Layers are Close to Cocoa, Night of Navy and Very Vanilla. Image is from another old SU set, I don’t know the name because I only have this stamp. Sorry. Wish they would bring it back though, I could use the whole set! I colored the golf image with Stampin’ Up markers in Close to Cocoa, and Going Gray. Sentiment is from All Holidays ( Only Father’s Day stamp I own) stamped in Night of Navy .I used Old Olive Ribbon, and brown buttons.
This last card was for my Dad. The base is Naturals Ivory CS. Layers are Choclate Chip, Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa and Old Olive. The image is from the set Backwoods. I wanted it a little bigger so I actually stamped it and then enlarged it a little onto water color paper. I then watercolored it with Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Going Gray, Always Artichoke, Old Olive and Basic Black ink. The sentiment is stamped in Always Artichoke, I used a little piece of Hemp for the knot.
Well I am off the great outdoors for a Family Reunion, I will have more when I get back.

Yes, it is another cupcake card. I needed a birthday card for one of Lily’s little friends and this one was perfect. I used Pink Pirouette CS for the base. Then I used Pumkin Pie CS and Sweet Always DSP for the back layer tied with a piece of Pink Pirouette Striped Ribbon. I also used a strip of Whisper White CS punched out with the eyelet punch. (Love that it looks like lace!) The cupcake is pretty much the same as the last cupcake card I made….I used the cupcake from the set Wagon Full of Fun from the spring mini catalog. It is stamped in Jet Black Stazon colored with a Blender Pen in Pink Pirouette, Pumpkin Pie and Yoyo Yellow Ink. The sentiment is from the set She’s All That.
Well hopefully I will be back tomorrow~

Sorry that the color is a little dark on this one. I am no photo pro. This card is another Mojo sketch. It is number 73. I made this card for a Mother’s Day card for my stamp club. I love that it was simple but pretty. I layered Pacific Point Blue and Basic Black. I stamped the Upsy Daisy stamp in Basic Black craft ink onto whisper White CS. I used Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds to make the flowers extra blingy. Then I punched a slit in the white and black layers with the slit punch, and used some pretty silver ribbon and a black button with a rhinestone glued to it to make it pretty. The inside is stamped with a Happy Mother’s Day stamp.
For this card I used MojoMonday sketch #81. The card base is Regal Rose, I used Sweet Always DSP for the two layers. I used the cupcake from Wagon Full of Fun stamped in Jet Black Stazon colored in with a blender pen and Pink Pirouette, Pumpkin Pie, and Yoyo Yellow inks, the flower is from Always stamped in Regal Rose with a rhinestone in the middle, and the happy birthday is from the set Pretty Princess stamped in Jet Black Stazon with the flower colored Regal Rose with a blender pen, those layers are backed in Pink Pirouette, Pumpkin Pie, and Chocolate Chip CS. I used Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon for the bow, then last of all I added the three little circles at the bottom that are just paper punched out with a hole punch.
Enjoy!
